Sales Commissions Senior Analyst / Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Commissions team is looking for a Sales Commissions Analyst who has a deep understanding of the commissions process, a hunger to learn, and a passion for customer service. You’ll own the end-to-end commission process to ensure commissions are calculated accurately and paid in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has 3 to 4 years of commissions experience, has expertise with Xactly Incent, brings a balance of creative problem solving and an eye for process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong expertise with Xactly Incent that includes setting up crediting rules, commission rules, and compensation plans 
  • Maintaining the core data requirements in calculating sales commissions (i.e., sales hierarchy, target incentive, quota, leveraging data from Workday and Salesforce)
  • Able to work cross-functionally between field operations, sales finance, deal desk and accounting, managing multiple tasks with an attention to detail and timelines
  • Prepare monthly commission accruals, and reconcile and explain variances from actual payments
  • Superior customer service in researching and analyzing questions and/or discrepancies identified by the sales ecosystem
  • Route and archive all signed Sales Compensation Plan documents for auditing purposes via Xactly
  • Assist with special projects 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years Xactly Incent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales commissions
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years equivalent relevant work experience

PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS

  • Xactly Incent Certification Level I & II
  • Sales commissions experience including a mix of Xactly consulting experience and direct Software as a Service (SaaS) industry experience at a high-growth company 
  • Basic accounting knowledge with understanding of commission accruals
  • Excellent written, verbal and auditory communication skills
  • Manage the use of confidential information and follow procedures to collect, organize and maintain sensitive information
  • Knowledge of Xactly Analytics tools
  • Knowledge of Xactly eDocs module for compensation plan distribution
  • Salesforce and Workday experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Strong analytical, operational and problem solving skills
