We are proud and excited to welcome Lee Pressley as Medallia’s Area Vice President based in Atlanta, GA. Lee joined Medallia in July of this year, bringing with her years of experience and success in high-tech sales and managing strong teams.
Leading a team of 25 people, Lee’s main responsibility will be growing the business. Working with our install base of Fortune 500 clients, her team will also be focused on developing new clients and expanding Medallia’s presence in the Southern and Mid-Atlantic United States, as well as Latin America.
Most recently, Lee acted as the Client Advocacy Executive for the CEO and Chairman of IBM. Prior to that unique role, Lee’s career has revolved around software sales, across mid-market, large enterprise, and global territories, spanning multiple verticals and a broad set of solution areas. As a previous VP of Cloud Sales in the US Communications Sector at IBM, she met and exceeded revenue goals of nearly $1B in business, managing a sales and technical team of approximately 200 people. In 2016, Lee was ranked #1 of 11 Sales Leader Cloud peers in North America, and her team was also recognized as the top performing team worldwide for IBM Bluemix, a central component to IBM’s strategic imperatives offering.
Over the 11 years she spent building her career at IBM, she excelled in various leadership and management roles, and consistently achieved targets. She was an avid participant in coaching and recruiting efforts including internship programs, sales training, executive talks for new hires, and mentorships focused on growing the careers of women at IBM. With Medallia’s commitment to supporting the growth of women in sales and sales leadership positions, Lee’s areas of expertise couldn’t be a better fit.
Lee describes herself as a “service leader,” curious and adaptable, with a passion for connecting people and ideas to impact change. With a philosophy that teams should work hard and play hard, she’s bringing an enthusiastic, credible drive for overachievement and teaming across organizations.
