Medallia Mystery Shopper Scam

Medallia has learned that fraudulent letters are being sent out using Medallia’s name, logo, and address.  These letters appear to offer individuals the opportunity to earn money as a “Mystery Shopper.”

This is a scam.  Medallia does not run any Mystery Shopper programs.  The perpetrator of the scam is using Medallia’s name without our permission.  If you receive a letter and check that appears to be from Medallia regarding a Mystery Shopper program, do not deposit the check or follow any instructions provided.

Medallia believes that this scam is originating in Canada and targeting individuals in the United States.  Medallia is in touch with law enforcement agencies in both countries.
