The reason we exist in the first place

If you were a repeat customer of a four-star hotel chain, why couldn't you get the room type you wanted?

From that small piece of frustration, Medallia was born.

The startling fact that seemingly easy requests were difficult to fulfill, even for a high-touch business, gave Medallia's founders an idea. Use technology—great technology—to help companies do better. And in 2001, the company put the first application together.

Today, Medallia is a leading provider of feedback solutions for the hotel industry. We're expanding rapidly in the retail, real estate, and financial services markets, to name just a few. And we're opening new offices inside and outside the United States.
