I was primarily considering tech-related options. I was really interested in technology and data. I have a dual degree in econ and data mining informatics. I was excited by the prospect of working with huge amounts of data and extracting information that is impactful and actionable, in the case of Medallia, to improve the customer experience and drive tangible results.

The best thing is definitely the people—they’re great. I tell people that 95% of the stuff I do, I can do working from home, but I actually choose to come into the office because I love being here. Also, the fully stocked kitchen doesn’t hurt.
