Medallia is looking for exceptional Java engineers to join our core platform team, using natural language processing, machine learning techniques, NoSQL technologies, and our in-house OLAP engine to analyze and display terabytes of data in our real-time web application.

You will join our core engineering team, which is fairly small, and will be responsible for architecting, designing and developing Medallia’s SaaS platform, the world’s leading Enterprise Feedback Management application. Your mission is to integrate the best of Visualization, Data Mining, Text Mining, Data Analytics and HTML5/Javascript into a revolutionary, engaging, high performance platform. You will master the agile development process, techniques and technology, as well as write scalable, maintainable, efficient and elegant code. You will actively participate in cutting edge open source technology and research.
Our hosted environment manages hundreds of thousands of incoming records a day, serves tens of thousands of users, and collects millions of samples each year. Our product is used by hundreds of clients across different verticals, allowing them to make decisions affecting billions of people, and we do it all with about 20 engineers.
Requirements:
We’re looking for highly technical engineers who are extremely passionate about producing quality code and have a real interest in solving extremely difficult problems. At a minimum, you should hold a BS in CS or equivalent and have experience with distributed systems, machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, or data visualization.
